Swiss Chard Orecchiette

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 10 oz of pasta (orecchiette or other)
  • 1 bunch of Swiss chard
  • ½ pound of cherry tomatoes
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, following the package instructions.
  2. While the pasta is boiling, chop up the onion and garlic.
  3. Cut up the Swiss chard and slice the cherry tomatoes into halves.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic.
  5. After 1-2 minutes, add the Swiss chard and cook until soft. Then, add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add salt and pepper to your liking, stir, and then remove from heat.
  7. Remove the pasta from the pot, plate it, and spoon the vegetables over top. Sprinkle with parmesan as desired.
