Please carefully review the terms (the “Terms”) below. These Terms are designed to ensure that you get the most out of your coaching experience, while respecting the time and dedication of your coach. By selecting “I agree to the Coaching Participant Terms” in the Thrive Platform, you confirm your understanding and agree to the following:
Dedication. You agree to join each session promptly at the scheduled time. You agree to arrive ready to learn and participate with a constructive attitude.
Mutual Respect. You agree to respond to emails from your Thrive coach in a timely manner. You agree to be respectful in all communications with your Thrive coach, and to complete assignments to the best of your ability. Your Thrive coach puts a lot of work into your session, so please treat them the way you would want to be treated.
Rescheduling. Except for emergencies, you agree to give your Thrive coach at least 12 hours’ written notice before rescheduling any coaching session. If you must reschedule, you agree to try to reschedule a session within the same business week. We understand that emergencies arise, so the first missed or late rescheduled session will be waived. However, any additional missed or late rescheduled sessions will count against the coachee's total available sessions in order to respect the coach's time.
Learning Optimization. You agree to complete homework and assignments from coaching sessions. You also agree to complete any pre-session work prior to the session when the work is due.
Feedback. As part of your Thrive Coaching experience, you will be asked to complete assessments and provide feedback. You agree to participate honestly and in a timely manner. Thrive may use your feedback to administer and improve the Thrive Coaching program, including in aggregated or de-identified form, and may contact you about your feedback. Thrive will not publicly attribute your feedback to you or use an identifiable quote, testimonial, or role model story without your separate permission.
Confidentiality & Disclosure. The substance of your coaching communications will be treated as confidential, subject to applicable law, Thrive’s privacy notices, and safety-related exceptions. Thrive Coaching is intended to support well-being and is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis, or crisis services, and is not a substitute for advice or treatment from a qualified health care professional. If your coach believes you may be in crisis or at risk, they may encourage you to seek support from an appropriate health care professional or emergency resource. You can find additional resources here. Importantly, your employer may have additional resources.
If Thrive makes a material change to these Terms, the updated Terms will be presented for your acceptance before they apply to future coaching sessions.
