Trust Yourself

A Poem to your inner wisdom.

The Thrive Global Community welcomes voices from many spheres on our open platform. We publish pieces as written by outside contributors with a wide range of opinions, which don’t necessarily reflect our own. Community stories are not commissioned by our editorial team and must meet our guidelines prior to being published.

My dear, trust yourself.

When it doesn’t feel good, trust yourself.

When you feel hurt or angry, trust yourself.

When you feel anxiety and something feels off, trust yourself.

When the song of a bird brings a smile to your face, trust yourself.

When a good book makes you cry and you feel raw inside, trust yourself.

When you dance and feel free and sexy and beautiful, trust yourself.

When you laugh out loud at the silliest jokes and your belly hurts, trust yourself.

When you make love and you feel transported to another world where you are perfect and loved and a goddess, trust yourself.

Trust that your inner wisdom gives you all the information you need to be okay and to achieve the highest, most truest version of your self. It’s all in you.

Trust that.
