Whiteboards have been the easiest way for me to get my thoughts out.

When whiteboards are life!

Let me tell you a story…

In September of 2016 my entire life changed.

I was living in a 2 bed room apartment barely able to afford to take care of myself. I had 2 jobs, constant stress and anxiety.

My daughter wasn’t even a year old at the time and I was seriously giving my very last dollars to try and have what she needed.

My apartment had the following:

A big ass sectional, kitchen table, high chair, bed, two dressers, crib and loads of toys for Hunter.

I didn’t even have a laptop for a majority of my time there.

I was learning how to do Digital & Social Media Marketing on my iPhone 5C and spent my nights on Telegram mastering Instagram.

That was the month I first read Grant Cardone’s The 10x Rule.

Book changed my life.

Anyways, I would eventually scrape together a couple extra hundred dollars and buy a 2005 MacBook and start the uplevel process.

That’s when I bought my first “course” as well on Snapchatmarketing… lol.

Times were bad though.

Really bad.

I was super unhappy and life was only getting worse.

I had everything that Hunter needed but nothing for myself.

One morning I would wake up and go to take Hunter to daycare… only this morning my car wasn’t there…

I was floored.

I had Hunter in her carseat, work clothes on, coffee in hand thinking today was going to be another day of the 9am to Midnight grind…

I go back up to my apartment and sat there.

Hunter in my lap.

All I could do is stare at her.

I cried.

Yes I wept.

I couldn’t hold it in any longer.

For weeks I had known that I was not getting any closer to creating the solutions I needed to steer my life in the right direction.

I didn’t cry because I was upset my car had been repossessed.

It was because I knew I wasn’t stepping up to be the man and father my daughter needed me to be.

If you know me, you know that I take fatherhood seriously.

I finally pull it together after a few minutes and call my daughters Nana.. not my family because I live in virtual isolation from any family contact.. they all live thousands of miles away.

She comes over and sees how I’m living..

One of the lowest and most embarrassing moments of my life.

This is my exes mom.

Needless to say there was some difficult conversations following that day.

Like I said Hunter had everything she needed but I was not looking after myself properly.

These are the events that led to me moving in with Gram.. how I love that woman. She became more than my daughters Great Grandma and exes Grandma. Over the next 14 months she became my best friend and confidant.

No one else will ever know just how hard I worked or how much I changed over the last 2 years.

No one.

She supported me, told me to go to sleep when I would stay up for 24 hours at a time, tell me she was proud of me and wake me up so that I could do my videos and work throughout the night if she saw me doze off.

That’s scratching the surface.

Eventually I would figure out this whole Online Business space and move out of Grams and into my current 3 bedroom home.

It’s so crazy to think back and realize it’s been 8 months since I left the house that will forever be the place I got my start.

Since then I’ve built a thriving Coaching business with amazing clients.

I have an amazing partner who not only supports me but pushes me to be the best Coach I can be and is just as driven to show up for her clients as I am to mine.

I’ve made and have amazing friends who are real af and loyal.

I’ve invested over 40k on my own Coaches to teach me how to best serve my clients.

My entire life is a reflection of the transformation I’ve lived over the last 2 years.

Huge shoutouts to:

👉 Gram, I love you with all of my heart.

👉 My partner, you’ve turned my world upside down in every way and I’m forever grateful for you. Seriously, couldn’t write this shit any crazier than the ride we’ve been on. You’ve proven that behind every great man is an even greater woman.

👉 My coaches for teaching how to run my business properly and next level knowledge.

👉 My clients for trusting me to show you the way.

👉 All of you for being part of my network and supporting me along the journey.
👉 My haters for fueling my fire.

👉 God for always taking care of me in every way.

👉 The Universe for its divine timing and lessons.

… oh yea and back to the whiteboards…

Huge shoutout to the whiteboards that are always there when I have crazy ideas, need to map out my thoughts, plan, create, teach, scribble, etc.

I’ve went from one 2ft by 3ft whiteboard at Grams to 6 of those and this big ass 4ft by 8ft whiteboard in my office… y’all the real MVPs!

I’ve made so many mistakes in my life but truth be told I’m grateful for all of the adversity I’ve encountered over the years.

You can become whatever you want to become and create whatever you want to create.. you just have to start the process.
