Versatility is a good skill to have in today’s ever changing world. To be able to specialize in a variety of areas rather than just one is highly valued today. This is why Christian Massa is a force to be reckoned with.

Christian Massa is a 27 years old actor and entrepreneur based in Connecticut. On the one hand, he is a talented actor who has just in the past six years booked one leading role and three principal roles. On the other hand, he is also an entrepreneur who founded with his father and aunt a flooring company.

Christian has played four roles on the Discovery Identity network; one leading role as Ken Register in 2013, and three principal roles in 2013 and 2015. His acting career continued in 2016 when his brother Joe and him wrote and starred in a short film called “Pressure.”

“This film was dedicated to people suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts, and it aired in the Los Angeles Awareness Film Festival.” Christian recalls.

Most recently in 2019, Christian’s brother Joe Massa created a web series called “My Suicide Story.” In this series, suicide survivors share their story in hopes to help other people suffering. Christian is the Assistant Director in this project.

In addition, in 2016 Christian co-founded with his father and aunt Aquatec Flooring, a flooring business focused on waterproof vinyl floors. This year, having found the right manufacturer, in just three years they have been able to hit over $1,000,000 in sales.

According to Christian, what differentiates Aquatec from their competition is the quality of their product. Their waterproof vinyl floors are composed of four layers, cautiously manufactured to satisfy the expectations of the customer and with lifetime warranty for residences and 20 year commercial warranty.

For Christian, who has successfully led his acting career side by side with his entrepreneurial ventures, mindset is very important when starting your own business.

“I think it is very important to have a clear mindset when starting a new business. You need to make sure you don’t have other major projects going on that could distract you.” Christian says.

Moreover, fear for Chrisitan is simply failure. He believes that no one can succeed if they are too scared to try. Just so, Christian thinks that one of the biggest challenges when starting a business is actually having the courage to start it.

“My advice would be to come up with a strict plan or strategy of what exactly you want to do. Create a goal and figure out steps to reach the goal, and do not cut any corners or skip any steps.” Christian shares.

For someone versatile like Christian, success is simply being able to live financially stable. Financial freedom for him, in turn, means to be able to do what he wants whenever he wants.

The next projects for Christian include to help finishing his brothers web series “My Suicide Story” that has already reached and aided many suicide survivors, and to continue growing Aquatec, which is already gaining traction by successfully offering a variety of patterns for their customers as well as professional installation.
