Some medical uses of mangosteen

Diabetes The effect of mangosteen on sugar levels is evident after 1 or 2 months of therapy. Some diabetics need to start with a dose of 15 ml  (one tablespoon)  of pulp per day, to gradually increase in weeks until reaching a two-ounce regimen three times with meals, if fasting glucose levels rise more than 20 points at the beginning of using the mangosteen.

Antitumor and cancer prevention Although the diet recommended by the American Cancer Society is a good start, you cannot get all the antioxidant protection our bodies require only from food. It is simply impossible. Supplements have become a necessity to protect against cancer in a polluted world.

The recommendation is to eat up to 8 ounces of the pulp at each meal along with a gallon of water for patients who do not have kidney or heart damage.
