It’s funny how the simplest things in life seem to be the hardest to understand.

It seems as humans we have this natural tendency to want to push, to fight, to struggle, to make things more difficult than they really are.

We use so much energy making up conversations in our head, supporting them every day with negative language and allowing our thoughts to generate disempowering beliefs, instead of just accepting and believing, life is meant to be easy!

One of life’s puzzles I’ve recently figured out is that you can create a business with ease by giving up the belief that it’s meant to be hard.

When I got it and I mean really understood and FELT what ‘letting go’ and ‘going with the flow’ meant, my whole life and business opened up for me. Soul clients came in, opportunities appeared and well..even my love life got better!

It’s almost laughable to think this had eluded me as a coach with over 20 years personal development experience, but being brought up with a belief system generated by parents that constantly said ‘you need to work hard for what you want’ and life isn’t easy” it’s not surprising I used to think ‘struggling’ was a way of proving how much I was willing to ‘fight’ for what I wanted. Almost in a way proving I how much I wanted it.

How wrong I was.

Understanding that pushing against the natural flow of life is counter-effective has been an incredibly valuable lesson for me in creating my business helping soulpurposed female coaches structure their business so they can do what they love and make money.

We’ve all heard the sayings “focus on what you have, don’t focus on what you don’t have” or “focus on what you want, don’t focus on what you don’t want’ which makes perfect sense when you hear them, but actually I think the way to do it is often misinterpreted which is what causes the disparity.

Focusing on what we want can often inadvertently involve resistance. Unknowingly we can get caught up in the struggle of trying to figure out how to get what we want!

You know what I mean, getting on that merry go round of thoughts where you’re focusing on how you can make what want you want happen, how you can make that 5 figure month, how you can create more clients, struggling to figure out the how, the how, the how!!

It’s asking the how’s when focusing on what we want that causes the problem, creates the resistance and blocks the flow in attracting the very things we desire. It’s not our job to focus on the how, the universe will take care of that. It’s our job to focus on what we want and how it will feel to get it.

It’s about 360 vibrational alignment. When I started to get in tune and vibrationally align with the feeling of ease that’s when things suddenly start to go in the right direction for my life and business.

Being in the vibration of least resistance is the fastest way the universe will get you to where you want to be. By tapping into source energy within and by allowing yourself to manifest what you want emotionally instead of just verbally. In the absence of resistance, everything is making its way to us as we speak, we just need to be ready allow ourselves to open up, surrender and receive!

As human beings we like to work things out, it’s the logic part of our brains that makes it feel we have to find an answer. Letting go of a problem in order to resolve it can sometimes feel alien, particularly in business. Ever experienced the following ..clients not coming in fast enough? Quick change the strategy, change the FB ad or change your ideal client? It’s easily done.

But actually resisting the urge to push so hard can be one of the best things you can do for your business. You create the space for more intuitively guided decisions, heart-centered creativity and soulpurposed vision. There is a loving flow of co-creating that is vibrationally aligned and FEELS good when we allow ourselves to stop going against the tide.
