Crypt Lake, known as one of the top 10 hikes to do in Canada, offers two choices. One passes through forest, whereas the other one is an ascent, which passes through the impressive Hell roaring Falls. 

Once you walk through these patches, an open area would be right in front of you. There you will see streams amidst mountains, which leads to the mystic Crypt Falls. Cascading Crypt Falls is approximately 150 meters high. 

Trails on these mountainous areas are pretty challenging but are manageable by the tourists. It is because of the secured cables and also short tunnels. This trail, however, ends up in the shores of Crypt Lake.

For semi-formal or formal dining, you can go to The Lakeside Chophouse, which offers breathtaking views of the Waterton lakes and is the only restaurant by the Waterton lake, or

The Thirsty Bear Kitchen and Bar for the pub type atmosphere and some fun time with friends.

On the way, you will see magnificent wildflowers and unusual flowers called “Bear Grass.” Geraldine Lake is yet another scenic view that has a beautiful path for adventure seekers.
