In order to even be able to start that 6 figure business idea that you have, you must be passionate and dedicated to whatever you want to do and build. If you don’t have that drive or passion for what you do then it will be extremely hard to start the work or even finish it. Build a business that you actually like and don’t build it around you because it must be able to run without you in the future.

When you know what you want to do then you must take as much time as possible to learn how to do it and be an expert at it. If you go into building a business with very little knowledge then the probability of you succeeding will be very small.

Your Level of Focus Determines The Level of Output You Recieve

Always make a daily goal that you can achieve each day so you get that feeling of making progress. Over time these wins stack into massive wins where it just snowballs. A good way to reverse engineer what you should be doing each day – is to know the end goal. Think of the future and where you see yourself in the next 10 years & then reverse engineer what you need to do in order to get there. Entrepreneur Brodie Kern knows all about staying focused, from being addicted to drugs and alcohol to building multiple 6 figure businesses.

He states that he always thinks of the alternative, if he fails or goes back to doing drugs then he will lose all of his money, family, his businesses Bravado Marketing and The Brodie Kern Group. That thought pushes him to work harder and harder each day so that he can provide for his family.

Constantly thinking of the future and your goals help you stay on track. Studies show that only 13% of workers actually like going to their jobs. The reason is because they are unmotivated and disengaged, so it is so important to stay motivated and focus on the bigger picture.

Find the Sole Root of Why You’re an Entrepreneur

Everybody wants a million dollars, but not many actually make that kind of money because they figure out how hard it really is and don’t want to work for it. Kern explains that you have to figure out what it means to you, for example Kern wants it because it will give him more freedom to do the things he loves.

If you want it bad enough and you know why you want it, you have to understand that you have to work extremely hard every single day and constantly learn. Kern explains “If you say I want a million dollars and I don’t know why, then you will never get there.”. Studies also show that 20% of businesses fail within the first year and 50% fail within 5 years. The reason most businesses fail is because lack of management, insufficient capital, and poor business planning.

Chase Growth – Not a Destination

When you build a business and start making a lot of money it all seems great until you realize you’re not happy. If you chase the money then you won’t feel that sense of fulfillment because the money isn’t what you’re looking for. Kern states that “The only time I got a ton of fulfilment wasn’t in my businesses but was when I was helping other alcoholics with sobriety”.

Take the time to do something that will truly make you happy and give you fulfilment so you won’t have to struggle in the future. Following trends to make money will only go so far, take as long as you need to figure out what you want and how you can achieve it.
