22-year-old Elsy Guevara is an Instagram star, business owner and Youtuber who has a subscriber base of over 580,000.  When Elsy was a 17-year-old she thought up plans that would combine her love for the fashion industry and her interest in business.  Elsy was able to execute those plans and today she is a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry.

Elsy is one of the few that have been able to turn their hobby into a full-time career, and while this might be the ideal life for some of us, it does have its own struggles. Elsy revealed to us how she copes with the stress of being an influencer;

Be yourself…

In the saturated world we live in today being yourself is important. Don’t try and mimic others just because they are doing well, I see this a lot.  Being yourself takes a lot of guts though, this is one of the reasons why you need to grow a tough shell, training your mind to deal with the bad things people say about you will help you withstand all the negatives coming in and eventually turn them into something positive.

Health wise…

Don’t ever sacrifice health for wealth, always strive to stay healthy.  You could do this by trying out a new- healthy- diet or visiting a gym.

Helping others out also boosts our overall well being- try giving away money and other useful items to people in need.

Building Relationships…

You should always engage your audience, being active and showing that you actually care about your supporters will take you very far on your influencer journey-try reading books that can help you maintain a positive outlook on life, this will go along way when it comes to building lasting and meaningful relationships.

One thing that you should always remind yourself of is that not everyone will agree with you or approve of your actions. You are your own person- this should always be at the forefront of your mind.

Being myself and doing what I love always pushes me to continue being an influencer and remain happy!
