Happiness comes from your actions.

The smallest seed of faith is better than the largest fruit of happiness. - Henry David Thoreau

The Thrive Global Community welcomes voices from many spheres on our open platform. We publish pieces as written by outside contributors with a wide range of opinions, which don’t necessarily reflect our own. Community stories are not commissioned by our editorial team and must meet our guidelines prior to being published.

Happiness is action-based, mostly and there is no measurement index!

For some, happiness is owning a house, buying a car, buying expensive goods, going for a world tour, etc.

For some, happiness is securing good marks, getting into good colleges/universities, getting good grades, securing high salaried jobs, etc.

For some, happiness is seeing others happy.

Now, it’s entirely upon us, how we choose to live and lead our lives.

Happiness is the highest ideal of human existence. It is the purpose of human life. Happiness is the emotion that makes us believe that life is worth living and worth fighting for. – Amarvani
