You've been told that you can do anything you want, right? This is the message that has been rooted in us since childhood when we imagined becoming astronauts, athletes and movie stars. And that we do not want to be anyway! As we age, we usually overcome these fantastic adventures and begin to chart a career that matches our personal goals and values.

However, despite this seemingly simple and logical process, many people still have a series of misconceptions about what a "dream job" really entails. The professional topics we have absorbed over time can not only be misleading but also downright detrimental. And one of the best topic is https://www.surveygods.net/

  1. Passion will pay the bills

It's a hard pill to swallow, but passion alone does not pay the bills, at least not for most of us. It's not because you care about something that you can live it. For any business to succeed, the market must be willing and able to pay for what it offers. For example, you may want to work with students in resume preparation, but students often have little money and colleges often offer free professional development support in response to this.

However, this does not mean that you should stop doing what gives you emotion. Instead of diving into something new, take small steps to establish yourself. Concentrate on projects on your side and work to take them to a place where you can survive alone.

This is a strategy that the author, Jeff Goins, calls "building a bridge" in his book "The Art of Work: A Proven Way to Find Out What You're Expected to Do". In the long run, rushing things will not be worth it. Taking into account the previous case, you can start helping university students as volunteers in the professional services department or by providing free advice on your blog. Over time, you can evaluate your success and determine when and how to monetize your efforts.

What are your strengths?

Most young children are exceptionally creative. Most children are encouraged by their parents, family and friends to show off their talents. This stimulus is an increase in self-confidence that encourages children to improve and show their talents to the world.

At school, however, we learn how others can think of us. We learn from our weaknesses and how to overcome them. Additional courses, additional exercises ... It often seems that the school insists more on the resolution of your weaknesses than on the improvement and the use of our forces.

Stop dreaming, start doing

Your dreams could potentially have an impact on the future of your career, but only if you choose to act according to the information you have obtained. If your job prevents you from sleeping at night, then it's probably time to start looking for a new one. But do not lose sleep for that. Do you need help with this? People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
