Bright red lanterns come in all kinds of sizes. They are such delight to see during Chinese New Year. People rejoice over these lanterns as they bring a sense of happiness and a promising bountiful new year.

Lanterns are often used in Asian cultures and religions. They have spiritual and philosophical significance. The light from the lantern is akin to a life source.

Each of us has light inside of us. We need to take care of it so it shines brightly within us and we also can shine for others when we are stronger.

What does light represent in your life? 😀

Purpose, guide, compass or inspiration can be seen as light. When we have a purpose or guide, we feel alive to do what we want to do. Business owners or companies who have a purpose. They build their business to be more meaningfully, with good intention and make good impact to people. They think beyond just making money.

How can you keep your light shine? 😛

When I took coaching class, the coach instructor always ended the lesson by saying, Let your light shine. When there’s light, we can see things clearly. If our light dims, we feel lost or stuck. How bright is your light? How can we keep our light shine?

Here are four things you can do to keep your light shine.

1. Taking care of yourself.

If I take good care of my physical, emotions, mental and spiritual, I feel more balanced and contented. It means that my light shine and I am more productive.

2. Live to your fullest potential.

The more we make use of our potentials, the brighter our light will be. It takes courage and faith to overcome our limiting beliefs. Be the best person you can be.

3. Support.

I also believe in the support from family, mentor and coach. Even joining a mastermind group can help you shine too.

When our light shine, we have more clarity and feel inspired. Clarity is often the key to success and happiness. We all want to be happy and successful.

Find your light within, let it shine brightly and shine for others too. 🙂
