Entrepreneurship With Michael Laurens

To be able to make a positive impact and help others achieve their goals...

The Thrive Global Community welcomes voices from many spheres on our open platform. We publish pieces as written by outside contributors with a wide range of opinions, which don’t necessarily reflect our own. Community stories are not commissioned by our editorial team and must meet our guidelines prior to being published.

I know this is not an easy job. What drives you?

To be able to make a positive impact and help others achieve their goals.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? What lesson did you learn from them?

Both my mother and father. They taught me that no matter how hard times can get, and how low you feel, maintaining diligence and being able to leave those around you with more positivity and energy than they had before your interaction will always be the most important trait one can have.

How do you push through your worst times?

By accepting the things that are outside of my control, and remembering the one thing that will always be within my control is my choice to move forward.
