Introduction

My name is Jane Gahal, I am an employee manager of Bestamatools.com and stress therapist in UCL Hospital, Singapore.

The first thing that comes to most if not all people concerning entrepreneurs is the lavish life they live; fast cars, designer merchandise, and clothes among other high-end escapades that are done. This is however far from being factual as for most entrepreneurs, their time and life entails hard work, long working hours and tremendous stress not forgetting the sacrifices made to achieve their desired goals.

All these aspects can lead to stress which is why acquiring the stress management skill is intricate in running one’s business. Stress can come from vendors or customers or the employees working under this entrepreneur.

Definition of Stress

Stress is a biological concept entails the mental, emotional or physical agent that causes tension to the mental state and the physical state of the body. Stress can be caused by external situations such as the environment or internal causes such as medical procedures or ailments.

This technique is among the oldest means through which people alleviate their stress levels. It reduces the blood pressure in the body, it lowers the heart rate and also reduces anxiety; all these issues that are reduced help reduce the stress levels.

A lot of entrepreneurs usually attempt to ignore the fatigue and power through completing all their tasks as fast as possible whether how long the list of tasks is. This method works for some people but for others, it leads to a breakdown as they become fatigued preventing these entrepreneurs from working at their optimum ability.

Taking a break is an efficient way to relieve the tension and get the needed time for the mental and physical state of the body to regain its cores. Doing this will help accomplish the remaining tasks faster due to the rejuvenation gotten from the break period, however short or long the break was.

4. Regular Exercises

This technique is a great mechanism for alleviating the stress incurred and improving the health of the body. To make it effective in reducing stress one has to first set a routine for exercising whether it’s setting aside specific evenings or mornings to dedicate that period for workouts.

Exercises could be hitting the gym, or running or enrolling in sporting events in any local sports club; it is upon the individual to find the exercise best suited for their schedule and fancy as the end goal is to reduce the stress levels.

When researching on efficient tips in alleviating stress the first step would be to check on an efficient dieting plan; dieting helps maintain a healthy body which helps maintain a stress-free attitude when running a business.

The never-ending tasks in business require the entrepreneur require sufficient energy which is sufficiently provided by healthy foods. The more steps are taken in eating healthy foods the more the tasks in one’s business are efficiently completed; this, therefore, helps reduce the stress levels of the entrepreneur.

6. Maintaining a social life

Socializing is a very efficient way of managing stress as it helps the person forgets about the issues that are in the business or factors that re hindering the success of the business. Socializing thus will alleviate this pressure and after a while, the entrepreneur might get a solution as the mind is back to an optimal level for thinking of ways to get out of the issues in the business.

For others socializing can also be a way of regaining back the required energy to go tackle the issues at the business thus tackle them efficiently.

7. Meditation

This technique is a great substitute for those not interested in yoga as a stress management technique. It has the same effect of reducing anxiety and depression as well as reducing blood pressure and the heart rate; all these help reduce the stress levels in the body.

This technique is easily incorporated in the daily work routine as it can be performed in the office or anywhere preferable to the entrepreneur. It can also be done at any time of the day whether in the evening or during the day in the morning.
