What did you want to be when you were little? An actor? A model? An astronaut? Unfortunately, very few of us manage to make our childhood dreams come true. And for the few that do, they are ones we should be applauding for their unending passion, determination and courage!

Dr. Nina Bal is one such woman who worked hard to make sure that she lived her childhood dream. She always loved medicine and dreamt of becoming a doctor since she was a little girl. She was also very passionate about beauty, aesthetics, and fashion. Talking about her childhood, Dr. Bal says, “I always loved looking after myself! So one day I thought to myself, why not combine my two biggest passions? And that’s how I went on to study hard to become a cosmetic dental surgeon and facial aesthetic doctor.”

Hailing from a small town in Italy, Dr. Nina Bal never thought that she would go on to win several awards in her career. She has won the 2017 Finalist Dentistry Awards ‘Best Young Dentist’, 2018 Aesthetic Dentistry Awards ‘Facial Aesthetics – Full facev treatment’, and the 2019 Finalist Aesthetic Dentistry Awards ‘Facial Aesthetics – Dermal Fillers peri-oral’. She was also the official cosmetic dentist in the series 2 of Bodyfixers on E4. And she is the Key Opinion leader for Philips and Alumier MD!

Her long list of achievements are actually a translation of her passion for beauty and aesthetics. Her main aim through it all is to make people look and therefore feel better about themselves. A mother of two children, her services also include non-surgical cosmetic procedures and facial rejuvenation treatments. She believes that ‘less is more’, which is why she employs subtle tweaks for excellent natural-looking results.

A master at Botox, Facial Sculpting, Fillers, Lips, and Skin Rejuvenation, Dr. Bal makes sure to build a rapport with her patients as she believes that having an easy and free-flowing conversation with them not only makes them comfortable, but also helps them better in their inner and outer transformations. Talking  about Facial Sculpting as an art, Dr. Bal says, “Facial sculpting is a concept instead of a procedure. I combine my two biggest passions – beauty and medicine – to offer people a complete cosmetic solution. I feel that you have to look at the face and teeth together when trying to offer the best aesthetic treatment; you can’t just do one and ignore the other.”

She graduated with a BDS (Hons) from Pavia, Italy in 2008. Dr. Bal is also a member of the General Dental Council, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Save Face, Compare The Treatment, Dental Protection, Hamilton Fraser, and Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide (Tatler) 2019. When asked about the secret to her success, she affirms, “I truly love what I do!”A prolific social media user, Dr. Bal keeps her thousands of followers updated, informed and entertained with her posts. She wholeheartedly believes that outer beauty is just one tool to make yourself a better person.
