Higher Education reflection on the current conception

reflection on the current conception

The reflection on the current conception of education in general and of educational policies, in particular, cannot disregard the tendencies that point towards a progressive but determined co-modification of everything related to them – Essay Mafia.

This change in perspective characterized generically by the redefinition of education from the rejection of its nature of universal law and its transmutation into a commodity that as such must be subject to the laws of commercial traffic has been accompanied simultaneously of strong pressures for the national states to assume it as their own and turn it into the guiding axis of their reform programs in the educational field.

It turns out then that both nationally and supranational education is undergoing a process of radical transformation that goes beyond methods and instruments pedagogical discussions or definitions of curricula and reaches its very essence the definition of its social function its objectives and how could it be otherwise the way in which it should be provided.

Although not too rich the English publishing scene has several publications that place in its pages texts on higher education. Some cover a wider range of educational topics and range from strictly academic publications

Others, including those published by some universities, are academic publications but of lesser scope than those mentioned above such as Education and Science of the UA of Yucatan Some have a less defined profile with features of scientific journal and dissemination. Various bulletins or gazettes dedicated to communicating news or reporting events related in general to some institution or organization such as the Gazettes of many universities and that of UDUAL or to certain programs.

In the recent past, there have been strictly academic journals in the UK dedicated expressly to higher education. Another magazine that could be expected to cover especially higher education is of the UNAM especially in its third epoch in charge of the Centre for Studies on the University (CESU) to which a large part of the researchers added after the latter’s disappearance. In its new phase set out to reach higher quality levels with the support of an Editorial Board in which there are excellent specialists in various aspects of education both national and foreign.

In its origins, the IPN was an institution that mostly attended high school and vocational youth. It is at the end of the seventies when the component of higher education is greater than the component at the upper secondary level. The postgraduate program appears until the seventies in a very slow and insignificant way until today that represents a very small percentage of the total enrolment of the IPN and constitutes a problem and a challenge.

The educational quality of the IPN in recent years has been more questioned than ever like all public education. However, in the evaluations of international organizations such as the QS University Rankings reports that the UNAM stands out advancing in the last year’s several steps in the world ranking

Although the object of attention of Educative Profiles is obviously the education it is not limited to the superior one but it includes other aspects and levels in the line of its first two epochs and as it lets see the composition of the Editorial Board. For its history and in addition to those related to the history of the university and the problems of higher education the CESU maintains lines of research in the theoretical field of education professional training, curriculum, evaluation, the pedagogical dimension of work in the classroom of basic education, environmental education, education and human rights, gender, and education, etc., all of which have a place in educational profiles.

In the UK, a nation where education is not the best in the world but far superior to that of any country in Europe-as it hurts more than one person, it is thought that they should improve in the formation of the new generations. Scholars referred “It is a concern that Norwegian students obtain average scores on international exams in math, reading, and science”.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
