What I Miss

Love, by Alexander Milav

I miss the feeling of us.
I miss the sharing of everything…

The epiphanies, the sorrow, the knowledge, the funny stories, the joys, the successes of my kids who I allowed to adore you, the adventures I’m having, the unfathomable incomprehensible tragedy that happened to a close friend and how you should be sending prayers her way, and the all lessons of life these days… all of it!

Now, it all sits behind a wall.

Lingering, retreating into withdrawal…

It’s hard to accept these everythings will never come out at all.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
