A Queen on Her Knees

The Verse

There’s a shadow

A dullness

A darkness that lurks.

A misfit

A bandit

A home at its worst.

There’s a mess

A stampede

A lost set of keys…

A door that won’t open

A Queen on her knees.

Begging and pleading for a life

Unlike this…

Where love and forgiveness is endless, pure bliss.

She seeks

And she searches…

Her strength it emerges.

She screams and she yells

She whispers the verses.

Today and tomorrow are each filled with sorrow,

She knows not what to do but her heart she must follow.

In the end she will choose only the moments that matter,

For her heart filled with love no longer can shatter.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
