I’m just a girl who woke up one day and decided to believe in herself. It was a long and fickle road of forgiving myself and loving the person who was looking back at me in the mirror. I had to get out of my own way, but what did that mean and what did it take? It meant disrupting the negative self-talk about who I am and what I knew deep down I could accomplish. It meant not allowing my past mistakes to cripple my future success. It meant doing the very thing that I feared the most. Who’s telling you you’re not enough? You are enough. In fact, you are more than enough! Whoever can’t accept that and value who you are, isn’t meant to be inside your world. We all have innate talents and gifts that sets us apart from one another. Your freedom lies in tapping into that gift and sharing it with the others. Whatever keeps you up at night and wakes you up at the crack of dawn, do that. Do the thing that burns inside you to get out. Do the thing that spreads light and love in this world because we surely need it. It only takes you placing one foot in front of the other, consistently and unapologetically. Someone is watching you from afar because they too want to take those first steps, but may not know how. We need you to step into your greatness so that others can subconsciously give themselves permission to step into theirs. Tomorrow isn’t promised and today is yours to seize, so what are you waiting for?

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
