Coming Alive

A poem.

Some are more than others.

Some are… slower than others.

Some live a lifetime without.

More newer born than earlier born are.

Why are only some?

Some hide that they are.

Some pretend that they are.

Some don’t know that they are.

Some don’t know that they aren’t.

When will they not realize they aren’t?

Some don’t care to know.

Some never dare to know.

Some know the reality of.

Some know nothing but

When will they care?

Some catch glimpses that they are.

Some try hard to feel that they are.

Some use needles, pills & drink, to see if they are.

Some die having never known they weren’t.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
