Besides Confidence, This is the Only Thing You Need

When you make a decision that is aligned with your values, you will not need any willpower or motivation.

On your journey to fulfillment, taking others with you is the surest path to success.

“One person caring about another person represents life’s greatest value.” – Jim Rohn

The most important thing you can do today is to encourage someone else. You can only do this well if you care about them.

The best way to win a friend/partner/client is to help them believe in their own potential and then help them achieve their dreams. Those who truly help others aren’t thinking about themselves… they are inwardly aware but outwardly focused.

The more you help, the more you will feel complete and the more success you will create.

Include others. Ask questions.

Find their needs. Share yours.

Learn about their experiences. Share yours.

Then help them to believe, to believe in their own power.

Others matter. When you work on things that matter to those around you, they notice and you help them and they trust you.

We always do what we desire most. We decide what we desire.

“The starting point of all achievement is desire.” Napoleon Hill

Our actions will always align with our desires. When our desires are aligned with our values we find peace and can obtain success.

We don’t choose every single thought. We do choose what we think about. A thought can happen in an instant. We then choose what we do with that, if we dwell on it, if we ponder and entertain it, then we are thinking about that thought. That is the choice. We choose what we think about. Thinking leads to desire which leads to action.

The work we do is a product of our desires.

That is why it is so important to only do work on things that matter.

What matters? Living to your potential is what really matters.

Your success is not about what others want for you, it is about what really matters, deep down.

Goals can help you live your potential.

Goals are formed by desires.

Goals that are aligned with your values and potential are the goals that have true impact. These are the goals that need to drive your actions. These are the goals that need to drive your work.

You always matter. Work on what matters and begin to matter to others even more.

After confidence, the only thing that truly matters is commitment.

“Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes… but no plans.” –Peter Drucker

It is not about willpower. It is not about self-control. It is about commitment. Motivation and inspiration come from our focus. We focus on what we are committed to.

If you are committed, you will take action.

If you are committed, you will find clarity.

If you are committed, you will help others.

If you are committed, you will create plans.

If you are committed, you will be effective.

If you are committed, you will develop the proper habits.

If you are committed, you will sacrifice whatever it takes.

If you are committed to the right things, you will achieve everything you want and need.

Commit to your potential. Commit to your relationships.

With commitment, nothing else is needed. Without commitment, nothing else matters.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
