Film & Theatre Director

Thankful for a directing career that traverses film and theatre, whether comedy, drama or nonfiction, I gravitate toward character-driven stories that enlighten as well as entertain. My chops were honed in independent film, television, theatre and photography which today makes me a very hyphenated "multi-triple-threat." In 2018 I produced two short-form productions; TZEVA ADOM was a finalist at the Cannes Film Festival in their "Emerging Filmmaking Program," and I directed/produced RESERVATIONS which stars Dale Raoul (TRUE BLOOD) and is now available on Amazon Prime. With producing and writing credits that span independent and commercial cinema, Sony's animated SPIDER-MAN (writer) remains my most recognizable television credit which stars Neil Patrick Harris in the title role and includes Ed Asner, Michael Clark Duncan, Gina Gershon and a slew of brilliant talent on both sides of the creative glass. Theatre remains a passion and is fueled by the Actors Studio West where I am a directing member and very active in their Play Development Unit. My daily juggle of stage and screen pursuits include spearheading the adaptation of Dan Millman's classic, WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR for the musical stage. I remain a passionate mentor through a variety of youth-based organizations and, in a prior life, was the executive director of The Story Project, a nonprofit founded out of RKO Pictures that furthered communication skills in at-risk teens through multi-media storytelling. Onward. Absolutely.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
