Tara Well, PhD

Tara Well is a motivational psychologist and research scientist. She’s currently an associate professor of psychology at Barnard College of Columbia University and studies how motivation and emotions influence our perception of the world. Based on research, Tara has developed a mirror-based meditation and taught hundreds of people how to relax their self-criticisms and develop kinder self-awareness. Her research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Mental Health, and published in the top journals in psychology.
