Sara M. Hood aka “Sara Lovestyle” fully embraces this perspective as a celebrity chef, fitness and beauty expert, former NFL wife and mother to two sons, as well as an Autism Advocate that fights daily to bring awareness to this condition. Sara leads and inspires by example, as the primary caretaker of her oldest son who is autistic.

Sara sees her own life as a miracle, where despite any challenges, love and commitment can conquer all. Sara was born to two parents that fell in love, after they met while escaping a war in their native land of Ethiopia, and fled to a refugee camp in the Sudan where they were married.

Sara’s faith is further strengthened through the God-sent blessing her and her family received while living at the refugee camp, when a church in Virginia sponsored her family to come to the U.S. after being emotionally moved by a picture of Sara’s beautiful smile when she was four years old.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
