Howdy partner! My name is Olivia and I'm currently a senior studying Political Science at the University of Southern California with a focus on Cross-National and Regional Politics and a minor in Management Consulting. I've grown up in the Coachella Valley, speak Swedish, and I'm the proud daughter of immigrants from Sweden and Mexico. After being a dancer all my life I am determined to change the world through art. Furthermore, I'm a big sister, a creative problem solver, a struggling plant-mom, a passionate social justice advocate, a huge fan of quirky phone cases, and a Consultant at JUV Consulting. My work spans many different fields including arts, politics, social impact, and entrepreneurship. Most recently, while in quarantine, I Co-founded an organization called COVID Child Care, offering free in-home childcare to medical workers on the front lines battling the ongoing pandemic. COVID Child Care has expanded to serve medical workers in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Seattle, Reno, as well as the Coachella Valley. In addition, I recently sold out my first art show as an artist at Framed Gallery. At USC, I am a part of the pro-bono social impact consulting group, 180 Degrees Consulting, and have been extremely impactful in the Undergraduate Student Government, serving as Associate Director of Marketing, Director of Marketing, and Chief Communications Officer on the Executive Cabinet. Previously, I've been involved with local CA Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia, been a member of the City of Palm Desert’s Youth Committee, and started a nonprofit organization in high school. Let's chat over coffee about: the resurgence of film photography, social media & marketing, whether or not cancel culture is productive, and the intersection between art and politics!
