Kathy Leonardo has been a freelance journalist for the past fifteen years. She has written for Los Angeles newspapers as well as national and international publications. In 2010, she founded www.LAArtParty.com, an arts and entertainment website featuring events taking place all over Los Angeles. Each month, it spotlights all types of events, art, music, theatre, dining, local businesses, some travel, plus weekend getaways. Leonardo has been writing for the Huffington Post for since 2014. She started writing for the Santa Monica Mirror in 2010 and then was offered a column called "Talk of the Town" featuring local dining, theatre as well as art and music events. In 2014, her column “Art Hopping with Kathy Leonardo” was introduced to Westside Today readers (over 90,000 circulation). She has also been a consistent contributor to the Argonaut Newspaper since 2014.   Leonardo's articles have been published in LA Weekly, Downtown News, Santa Monica Daily Press, Artillery Magazine, and WhiteHot Magazine, among others.
