Kaddy Thomas

Kaddy Thomas is mum to her gorgeous son, Elijah. After Elijah experienced a catastrophic brain injury due to a post-surgical infection, Kaddy became his full-time carer and now manages a large care team. She is the founder of Elijah’s Hope CIC, which supports children, young people and families affected by the rare genetic condition, Apert Syndrome.

In addition, she is available as an ‘expert by experience’ consultant and public speaker on matters relating to supporting someone with complex care needs, including postural care and managing personal health budgets. Kaddy is also a wellness and nutrition coach at Herbalife Nutrition.

Kaddy understands the demands of living with carers 24/7 and the rollercoaster parents experience when a child has complex care needs. She is passionate about empowering young people and their families to access the support and services they need to live a rich and fulfilling life.
