Jen Atkinson is the founder of Burnout2Balance and Jen Atkinson Yoga and she's the creator of JAY Wellness, a program that helps prevent burnout through yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Jen is a former international TV News Journalist and traveled the world, juggling a high-stress career while building a family. After 16 years of covering stories from the front lines and behind-the-scenes, as well as leading international TV newsrooms, Jen eventually suffered burnout and was forced to turn her attention to her health and to finding balance in her life. She now spends her time helping other people find their balance and prioritize things in their lives so that they don’t get to burnout stage. Jen is a certified yoga teacher and she makes yoga accessible for everyone – from beginner level to advanced, as well as those who have never done yoga before. Her motto is “Yoga is for Everyone”. Through Burnout2Balance, Jen Atkinson Yoga and JAY Wellness, Jen's aim is to help as many people as possible find balance in their lives and avoid burnout. Through her charity, Making Mats Matter, Jen turns old yoga mats into sleeping mats for the homeless.
