Vedic Meditation Teacher

http://yourbestselfmeditation.com

I am a former performing artist, dance instructor, director and choreographer who has been in the industry living and working in New York City for over 25 years. Having started my professional career at the age of 15 as a performer, I have danced with Ballet Hispanico of New York, Battleworks, Koresh Dance Company and the Joffrey Concert Dancers.

I have served on the faculties of Connecticut College, The Rock School, STEPS on Broadway and The National Theater Institute and have helped countless students realize their full potential. Currently, I am the artistic director of a pre-professional dance company in NYC called Z Artist Group.

After learning to meditate over 8 years ago, I decided to become a teacher of Vedic Meditation and therefor attended the premiere certified training program under the pre-eminent master and thought leader Thom Knoles (Maharishi Vyasananda Saraswati).

My studies culminated in a 12-week immersive program with Thom in Rishikesh, India, where I was inducted into the Shankaracharya tradition by Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Brahamchari, Supreme Authority of Vedic knowledge in India.

Upon my return, I founded Your Best Self Meditation to share this wisdom with others.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
