Andy Blasquez

Educator, M. Ed., Speaker, Musician, Vegan-Athlete

Andy is a high-school teacher, writer, keynote speaker, and a father of two boys. Born in northern California's San Francisco East Bay, Andy was raised in a loving and diverse family of six. He is the middle of three biologically-related boys, while his mother, father, and sister were each adopted into their respective families in their youth. The diversity of backgrounds that surrounded him created awareness in him of the many social and personal challenges that aren't always evident from the outside. His compassionate, open, and aware upbringing fostered a sensitivity in him that guided him toward a lifetime of veganism, advocacy, service, mindfulness, and a simple mantra of "Do good things, and don't do bad things." Andy is an occasional guest speaker, speaking about the environment, and the countless benefits of a plant-based lifestyle.
