President of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

Andrei Sharonov joined the SKOLKOVO Business School team in September 2013. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Mayor in the Moscow Government for economic policy. In 2013 was appointed Dean of SKOLKOVO Business School and in September 2016 he was elected President of the Business School.
Mr. Sharonov was awarded the Aristos prize for “Independent Director” in 2009, the national award “Director of the Year – 2009” for “Independent Director” and the international award “Person of the Year – 2012” for “Business Reputation”. He also received special award for personal contribution to the development of corporate management in 2016 from the Independent Directors Association and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO is the leading business school in Russia and the CIS, ranking first in RBC’s ranking of the Best Russian Business Schools in 2017. The school’s teaching staff includes 150 international professors and 1300 guest experts. Today, the school offers 20 formats of educational programmes, including MBA and EMBA, Start-up Academy, and the new international dual-degree programme ‘EMBA for Eurasia’, developed in collaboration with top Asian business school HKUST and designed for managers developing businesses in Eurasia within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
