Why running is so good at stress relief?

Running helps you to recover the vital energy, to order the ideas of your mind, it relaxes you, it recovers you from stress, it makes you feel good about yourself

It loads your batteries and allows you to enjoy nature. And it is that if you have already managed to get hooked, you will see that it is very difficult to leave it, because it is a great pleasure, not only on a psychological level but also on a physical level.

There are many works that have shown the positive benefits of ‘running’ for physical and psychological health. These benefits are observed in psychological well-being through an improvement of subjective health. It has been observed that the practice of running relieves depression and improves levels of anxiety and stress.

If you do not want the weather to be an excuse to postpone your exercise routine, a treadmill is an ideal machine you should have at home. In it, you can run and walk regularly without worrying about rain, snow or extreme heat. However, buying a treadmill is a serious investment and, with so many options available, the process can be overwhelming. The key is to focus on your physical needs, so here are tips for buying a treadmill.

Evaluate your needs related to the treadmill

In order to find the right treadmill, it is important to know how it will be used and who will use it. Make a list of all the people in your home who will exercise on the treadmill and determine what your health goals are. The more you use the treadmill and the more intense the exercise routines performed in it.

Determine how much space you have.

Another important decision you must make before buying a treadmill is where you will place it. If you have a room equipped to be a gym, you could have enough space to place the treadmill there permanently. However, if you do not have space, you could place it in your room, in the family room or in another space and it will not be necessary to leave it out all the time. In those cases, a folding model that you can easily store in a closet is your best option.

Create a budget.

Before you start looking for treadmills online or in stores, it is important to decide how much you are willing to pay. Treadmills can cost between $ 200 and $ 4000. On average, you can expect to pay approximately $ 1000 for a good quality treadmill. On the other hand, cheaper treadmills are better for people who walk, while people who run prefer intermediate or higher price models. Create a budget for your treadmill and look for the best model you can afford.

Did you know that exercise can help you reduce anxiety, gain confidence in yourself, relax your body or release negativity? Well, according to Life Fitness Academy, a US-based academy formed by experts in fitness and medical advisory board, there are some specific exercises that can help us achieve all those goals.

To reduce anxiety: Doctors have discovered that the electrical activity present in the tense muscles is reduced after an intense exercise session, thus decreasing nervous tension.

To relax the body: when playing sports, the brain releases endorphins, responsible for us feeling relaxed and satisfied. This relaxation, similar to what we feel when we receive a message, can last from 90 to 120 minutes.

To feel more confidence in ourselves: who else does less exercise to help the body lose weight, which makes us feel happy with our body and, as a result, with more confidence.

To release the negativity: perform high-intensity exercise can serve as an ‘escape valve’ for those annoyances and anger that occur in our daily routine and that end up stressing us. After the practice of exercise, you see everything in a different way.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
