Why practice Mindfulness of Thoughts?

Do something for yourself instead of impressing someone else; try doing what you love. The more you spend time with yourself the more peaceful your mental state becomes.

I sometimes thought that the subject, Psychology, itself a charade. I always felt that it was merely a subject that often gives an explanation of what was already been there yet, solves nothing because, in this contemporary, we get to hear an increased rate in taking one’s own life due to a reason, depression. Robin Williams, Marilyn Monroe (who surpassed her IQ level that of Einstein’s), Avicii, Amy Winehouse and many more unheard names who were guaranteed to be cured by well-known psychiatrists, however, they failed to. 

Later, I learned that I misinterpreted Psychologists and Psychiatrists. They tend to assist yet the people who arrive for counseling appeared to not completely be honest with them. There might be other reasons too such as, Psychologists/Psychiatrists itself misinterpreting procedure or the subject, psychology itself, still in the phase of absolute formation.

And this depression thing, I believe it to be, the result of over expectations and, is occurring only in this current era. It can be solved once you cut down them by lowering your expectations. if not, why haven’t we ever heard anyone in the old or medieval period who died of depression? It has become just another way, which, so-called licensed Psychologists/Psychiatrists, appear to cure, in exchange for money, through publicising and disseminating it.

Sometimes you feel low; people might consider it as ‘depression’ for no reason yet according to hearsay. Why don’t we dissect the problem instead of approaching some random strangers expecting them to be solving our problem/s? The problem lies within us; none can be considered experts in the subject because more than you no one can be familiar with your milieu or in simple terms, aware of you than oneself. Mobile phones contribute to the major reason for this depression. These devices never inspire you instead aim to rip off, more importantly, your time besides money. 

Practicing ‘Mindfulness of thoughts’ rather than relying to dwell on the future or past would ease the lessening depression stage. The present is all you have with you; live at the moment. You could not agree more with the fact that you neither can’t shape the past nor the future. Hence, bother less in worrying about them. 

You might think what is the difference between being focused and mindfulness of thoughts. The latter one is about focusing on one’s awareness in the present situation so that the mental state is fixated in that condition, for not some or little but a little longer in terms of time or period.

Mindfulness of thoughts can be attained if practiced in a few familiar ways. 

Try meditation: Set an alarm that extends up to two minutes, initially.

Try to exercise: Instead of those heavy workouts, try simple that does not cause much trouble to your body. Staying fit is far better than building impressive muscular or toned figures. Throw yourself a few puzzles that sharpen your brain too; this assists in honing your critical approach better you attempt to act.

Spending more time with yourself by reading a book, wandering in the park, or simply going for a walk would also guarantee you to focus at the moment.

The above, when practiced in regular intervals, would lead you to achieve mindfulness of thoughts. Remember, the more you are away from thoughts the less burden you feel and the more peaceful you become.

All those who have achieved and successful have practiced mindfulness of thoughts. You can only focus on what you love; for that reason, they tell you, love, what you do and do what you love. 

It is alright if you are not even attempting to do anything sometimes; it means, you need a break. And, you know what to do when you take a break from a busy life.
