Why Passion Will NOT Make Your Business Successful

The missing piece for entrepreneurs

The Thrive Global Community welcomes voices from many spheres on our open platform. We publish pieces as written by outside contributors with a wide range of opinions, which don’t necessarily reflect our own. Community stories are not commissioned by our editorial team and must meet our guidelines prior to being published.

Today I wanted to remind you about one of the most important things you must have to build your expert business and any business.

Many people in this industry think that just because they have a moving story and can coach they have what it takes to run a business.

Running a business is NOT about great ideas and moving stories.

Running a business is about executing something simple, incredibly well and consistently.

Consistency is the missing piece for entrepreneurs.

If you catch yourself saying:

I don’t want to post on social media every day.

I don’t want to send an email to my list.

I don’t want to contact 10 potential clients a day.

I don’t like selling.

I don’t like to boast about myself.

I just want to coach and nothing else.

Blah Blah Blah.

If this is the case, let me tell you something.

You are not going to make it.

Business is not for everyone.

Business is for people that are consistent.

How did I get on Forbes?

I have been writing for the past 6 years.

Did it happen by chance?

I knew it was just a matter of time.

Because I am consistent.

The question is.

Are you consistent too or are you letting your mind get in the way?

I know this message might sound harsh.

However, I feel not many business experts talk about it.

They get you pumped up, believing you can achieve all your dreams.

Without telling that is only one part of the equation.

Once you find what you love, then you must do all the boring stuff that will allow you to live your vision.

Now it’s time for you to be consistent and if you need help with accountability, then you can apply to be a GTeX member so that we can help you in growing your business faster.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
