Why Now is the BEST time to make progress on your goals

You may read this article title and think “what nonsense! This is the WORST time of my life to make progress!”

Then, you’d come up with excellent reasons to back that up. You lost your job. You’re now homeschooling your kids. Or you’re working more than EVER and stressed to the max.

And you’d have a point. Times are hard. And uncertain.

We worry, and fret, and stress these days. We’re all adjusting to new normals and massive challenges in our daily lives. Truthfully, our worlds are overwhelming on a good day.

So, how could you possibly challenge yourself MORE at a time like this? And why?

Well, let’s consider the stunning importance of adversity.

Many of our greatest heroes made their biggest strides during the dark days of their lives. Legends like Ben Franklin, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, and J.K. Rowling are just a FEW of the many that overcame huge adversity. Even when we look at our recent past, the recession of 2008, we hear many stories of massive success built in those depressing days.

Consequently, these people all understood a fundamental truth:

Pain and discomfort are excellent teachers. Or as Albert Einstein put it…

“Adversity introduces a man to himself.”

Albert Einstein

So, let’s transform our perspectives.

Friends, when it comes to building character there’s never been a better time.

Perhaps this is the wake up call that changes your life.

Without constant errands, activities, and restaurant visits most of us have more time than ever before. “I don’t have time” is no longer an excuse.

We can spend this luxury indulging in unhealthy or distracting behaviors, or we can pull ourselves together and make startling advancements towards healthier, happier, and more impactful lives.

Something to Consider

As always, the choice is yours. This could be a time of worry and waste. Or it could be the punch in the gut that reminds you of what’s important. A once in a lifetime chance to invest massively in yourself and your family.

HOW EXCITING to get this rare opportunity!

Now, throw the excuses away and go do it.
