Sunandini Verma is the founder of Amrev Media Inc– a marketing and technology solutions company. She studied Communications and Broadcast Journalism and did the whole t.v / movie world thing for a bit. That journey allowed Sunandini to travel and gain experiences in different corners of the world. Post broadcasting world, Sunandini decided to take her chance at corporate. She wanted to have clarity in what she was good at. Turns out it’s marketing and creating workflows. Sunandini told me that marketing comes naturally to her as she grew up around the business. From there, she decided to start her own company, Amrev Media.

How do you personally define success? What does it mean to you?

Success to me is ease. Ease with your self, work, wealth, health, family, and friends. Ease is the understanding that it all sorts its’ self out, for as long as you keep working hard, success is inevitable. Success to me is about balance and knowing that you give everything your 100%- all aspects of life- not just monetary. Success is also knowing that you are able to control your mind and life, not the other way around. Working for our goals is just a small part of the equation.

What do you do to recharge when you are feeling drained?

There two things I incorporate every day- meditation and working out. Through both, I am forced to be completely present and constantly be aware of my thoughts. This allows me to remain positive, in alignment, and most importantly stress-free.

If you had to pick a charity to give to, who would it be and why?

I’m so glad you asked this! I’ve been really passionate about providing a better solution for women in third world countries for female products. The conditions that women are living in due to lack of clean water, or lack of biodegradable solutions, are shocking and unimaginable. I’ve been blessed to have people in my life that are constantly working to help build and find solutions in this realm. We are currently launching Project Ease- to help bring awareness around the use of female hygiene products and the health risks. Currently, an amazing team of students at Ryerson University are working day and night to help execute this vision with a solution.

What is the one mantra that you live your life by?

Everything is always working out, even when it seems it’s not. I believe in the evolution of self, and without certain scenarios, we can’t know our selves or be a better version of self. What’s a life without growth? Because of this, I always feel things are working out.
