We all have moments, days or even weeks that we doubt our self. That is normal, we have so many people, businesses, work, clothes what so ever to compare that we always find a reason to doubt our self. They weird thing is that we all have something that is our biggest doubt.

Why we doubt our self and when this pops up is something you can figure out, let´s dig into that. You need to see doubt as a reason to negative thinking. Think about it, every time you start doubting yourself your mind starts into a flow of negative thinking and because of that before you know it, you are all caught up into the negative thoughts that you forget what you even wanted to do.

Do you recognize this:

Normal you: I want to start a business, I know a lot about the market, and I could be a good person for this.

Doubt you: What do I know about starting a business?  Do I really know enough about the market and am I the correct person for this?

Normal you: What the heck, I can do it and what I do not know, I can learn

Doubt you: No, I cannot, better to stay safe where I am now.

And like this the story goes on and you are just staying in the position you are right now, all because the doubt is talking you out of everything.

It looks like staying in your doubt is something good, because it is the safe way. But is it really? Taking risks is scary but staying safe is that what you want for real? If you are 100% happy with the life you are having now you would not be thinking about something else and start doubting.

Doubting every action and step you want to take, is holding you from the future you would like to have. The main answer to the question: Why you doubt yourself is ¨It makes you feel safe¨.

There is something nice before I stop writing, because you do not have to doubt yourself anymore. The negative doubts in your head are just a small part of you, they do not define who you are.

Let´s kick some ass against doubt:

  • Create awareness

Become aware when the doubts are popping up. Create awareness, like that you can work against the doubts.

  • Is it a fact what I am thinking or not?

When you have a negative thought or a doubt flying around in your head ask yourself: ¨Is this true, like a fact? ¨ or ¨Is it just another doubt?¨

  • Are you looking for safety?

Are you just looking for a reason to not make the big step?

  • Take control

We have so many thoughts per hour negative or positive, but you are the person who controls your own life.

All the thoughts that are flying around in your head you control to which you listen. Choose to listen to the ones that make you grow!
