Man & the Invention
• The first step of an invention is to imagine.
Generate visualization with our mind activating colors, situations and even places that we have never seen. We could say that when we imagine, we dream daydreams. Many times, the ideas for a film project, for a new transport machine or for an architectural form come from dream instances, that is, we receive ideas in our dreams that, later, we decided to apply to our life or our work. This happens because while we sleep we do not have nor feel any barrier, then the mind and imagination are allowed to access at any level without judging and without limitation. In dreams we are free and, perhaps, freedom is the first factor to invent.
• To create something
We must first have imagined it, that is, visualize the object we want to make appear or exist. Many times, while we are building and materializing the invention we come up with new possibilities that come from direct contact with the created matter and then we change the original idea again. This means that inventing is a process that is developing step by step and that requires attention and sensitivity needed to detect improvements that we had not considered in our first draft.
• They say that when you overcome a barrier you become stronger
You surpass yourself. So, it could be said that the inventive process develops inner strength because it is very likely that when you start your creation you will encounter various barriers and impediments (may be economic, socio-cultural or lack of necessary inputs) that they will hinder or delay the result. But once you have passed over every little rock on the road, you will move freely to your goal and feel greater joy since you have been able to do so despite the inconveniences. Remember, then, in your daily life that each opposing force is a learning experience.
Over time, it has been possible to verify that each invention activates a variety of benefits for the inventor and society: it stimulates their imagination, develops their potential when it comes to overcoming barriers, allows the ability to visualize, stimulates perception, provokes new thoughts and new questions about the world, develops sensitivity, allows discovery, causes research, facilitates tasks and reduces time, stimulates the will and not be discouraged by the inconveniences.
• An invention is also an act of magic and a gift
The invention has been given to man to advance in his own life and to teach future generations. So, maybe, to invent something is to open the eyes more and detect what is needed, what would make the world better and more beautiful. Inventing is being a visionary.
