What thoughts occupy your mind?

If we are what we think, what we think is pretty important, no?

The Thrive Global Community welcomes voices from many spheres on our open platform. We publish pieces as written by outside contributors with a wide range of opinions, which don’t necessarily reflect our own. Community stories are not commissioned by our editorial team and must meet our guidelines prior to being published.

“Our thoughts become our words.

Our words tell our stories.

Our stories build our lives.

Change anything and everything changes.”

– The Mosaic Change Formula

what do you believe about the formula above? if you believe it is true, the next question is, what thoughts occupy the space of your mind?

so often, i have watched my own mind space, and i believe i have a beautiful mind. after meditating every day for over 45 years, yet what i see, all too often is that the vast majority of my mind space is occupied by either emptiness or senseless thought.

if what we think is so vital in the creation of our lives, why not focus the mind more, disrupt the word patterns, elevate our stories and create the lives we dream of living?

what do you think? please share you thoughts below . . .

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
