A day where we celebrate love with either a significant other, someone who has been on our mind that we finally get to tell how we feel, or our friends and family how much we love them.

But what about self-love?

Shouldn’t we try our hardest to love ourselves first before we celebrate others?

We think we do but not all the time. Inherently, we put others first. We do it subconsciously because we want to make others happy and in turn, we think that will make us happy.

What makes us happy is what fulfills us and happiness starts with self-love.

So today, tell others you love them. Tell that special someone you love them.

But don’t forget to tell yourself you love you first.
