Can over thinking, thinking repeatedly about negative situations, painful situations, about

problems be controlled?

We simply want relief through thinking, through our calculations, projections, by thinking as if there can be flawless choices. Thus thinking multiplies.
You want to feel relieved by knowing, by thinking about accomplishing, by thinking about result, about tomorrow. As this is not possible, complications arise.
Once we see that this relief can not be secured, we become comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, confusion.
Any action is now relaxed, conscious.

You want to be sure about result, about tomorrow now. Unsurety troubles you. You begin to fight with unsurety. Once you see that the uneasiness of unsurety can not be resolved or thrown away from the mind, you begin to see clarity in action. Original may touch you here.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
