Life has highs and lows and if start feeling anxiety at any stage you need to take it seriously. Ignoring anxiety will only make it grow so it needs to be treated like any other health issue. Anxiety is bad for health because it puts you off eating. It is hard to focus on a healthy meal when you are too occupied with negative thoughts. Skipping meals is not good because it can result in elevated anxiety. When you do not eat it lowers the blood sugar and results in the release of cortisol which is a stress hormone. Make sure that you have a healthy meal plan. Sugar rush can lead to physical symptoms of anxiety such as shaking and nervousness.

Add more fruits, healthy fats, vegetables and lean proteins to the diet plan. Do not skip any meal and try to eat five to six small meals throughout the day.
