When Tyler Valenzia first opened his Instagram account, it was just a way for him to express himself and show his passion and dedication for working out. This instagram page quickly grew in size and has turned into a place where Tyler is able to make a difference in the lives of his followers

For Tyler, everything started when he was very young. At age six he was already incorporating himself into sports. By the age of 14, he started getting into weight lifting. He bought his first set of weights and started practicing watching Youtube videos of the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger. This inspired him and grew his knowledge of bodybuilding and growing his muscles. After some time of being consistent, Tyler began to see results which further grew his passion for bodybuilding. At the age of 16 he joined a gym weighing around 160 pounds. He set a goal for himself to work hard and get to 180 pounds by the beginning of his senior year. The day before his first day of senior year he stepped on the scale and weighed 180 pounds exactly.

This hard work that Tyler put into changing his body and his life completely transformed him as a person. He saw what he was capable of doing just by setting a goal for himself and sticking to it. By the end of senior year he weighed in at 200 pounds, something he never saw possible for himself.

“It was incredible to see my transformation from 14 to 18 years old,” he recalls.

At the age of 19, he decided to enlist into the United States Marine Corps. He is now 20 years old, and is currently stationed in San Diego, California where he is inspiring others through his Instagram account.

This Instagram influencer was inspired to start his journey on Instagram because he knew always knew he had something special to share. His biggest obstacles throughout this journey have been being an active duty Marine, working long hours, and trying to find time to still go to the gym to workout. All of this while also finding time to make content and staying up late to edit his videos before going back to work the next day.

“Everyone has obstacles in life. It’s up to each and everyone of us to make things happen, to do the things we want to do. So if you want time to do the things you want to do then you have to make time. Don’t use excuses to justify not doing whatever it takes to make things happen. Always stay consistent and make it happen,” he says.

He separates himself from others by just being himself.

“I love being able to be myself and not take life so seriously all the time. I enjoy having fun and doing the things that make me happy. Also being a United States Marine has opened so many doors for me. It’s really helped me to stand out amongst others,” he shares.

Tyler wants to stand out. Most importantly, he wants to be honest with people and give them the right advice.

“The truth is that there is no easy way to get the things you want. If you want something you have to work hard for it,” he stresses.

His definition of success means making things happen.

“No matter how small it is every little thing you did to make yourself get stronger or better is an accomplishment. Always set the bar higher and higher. Never be satisfied and always strive to be better,” he stresses.

He believes if you put in the time and effort to make something happen than that is a success.

His next projects are to branch off into YouTube where he will be able to further expand his audience. There he will make videos detailing his daily life and the things he likes to do. He wants to bring his followers into his life, and show them what they can do once they set their minds to it.
