    Though, business analysts are not usually primary decision makers mainly for the whole project. At the same time, they may also have to take the random decisions that may significantly affect the business. Decision-making skills may be required to know the scope and requirements of the project.
  2. Nippy or Speedy Learner 

    An efficient business analyst should be a quick or fast learner. Every project and client needs may be different and the projects have different end users, business processes, and subject matter experts.     Any business analyst may have to deliver the quality presentation on any assigned or required topics that may include project status, application design and business requirements. Moreover, your audience may be senior IT professionals or management personnel that may have a significant effect on your career as well.

  9. Problem Solving Skills

    Just like decision-making skills, the analysts must also possess problem-solving skills. Many formalized problem-solving ways are there like Brainstorming o Five Whys that can help you in identifying the root cause of any problem and to find the key solution of that as well.
  10. Active Listener

    It is one of the most essential soft skills. As the analysts have to collect the business requirements, so they have to contact their clients and during that communication may have to listen to the requirements. As an active listener, they must be able to collect exact business requirements and to gather all required basic requirements. Being an active listener, they are expected to be active while noting down the exact requirements of their client. For this, the analysts are expected to be a proficient listener.
