When it comes to our happiness, we are the only ones who can control what we allow into our hearts and minds. According to Vicky Vlachonis, renowned integrative medical practitioner and author of The Body Doesn’t Lie, choosing what we allow inside begins with guarding our energy. First and foremost, “surround yourself with people who lift you up,” she urges. “And share your feelings with the people who bring you up.” Once you’re around people who positively affect your energy, it’s up to you to hone in on your confidence. “Remind yourself of what you’ve accomplished,” she suggests, “And where you are today.” Watch the clip below for her full 3 tips.
