Knock knock — finally, the monsoon showers have arrived to beat the scorching heat of summer. It also adds delicacies in our meal. Change in the season requires the change in our eating pattern too. Before relishing these delicacies of monsoon just halt!! As the showers also come up with a series of infections and flu.

Don’t panic, here are the countermeasures to arm yourselves against these infections and boosting your immunity to make out best of this season.

Ginger tea

it’s the demand of the monsoons. Ginger includes anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds like gingerols, beta-carotene, capsaicin, caffeic acid, curcumin and salicylate that helps in relieving nausea, improving stomach performance, reducing inflammation and pain, fighting respiratory problems and improving blood circulation.

Drink plenty of water

Avoid carbonated drinks

these drinks reduces our body minerals which lead to the reduction in activity of our body’s enzyme. Instead of these drink one can go for nimbu pani add a pinch of black pepper in it, it will make your stomach happy and will keep you hydrated.

Avoid raw vegetables and fruits

instead of raw vegetables eat steamed vegetables and instead of raw fruits go for baked or stewed one as raw products contain active bacteria and virus that cause bacterial and viral infections.

Avoid kinds of seafood

non-vegetarian should switch from heavy sea-foods to lighter preparation like soups and stew as they are beneficial for already slowed down the digestive system.
