This Is How You Can Survive In The Summer

How to survive during summer

In summer last, it was unbearably hot here in Los Angeles. The scorching sun was delivering its heat to us. And like the other people, to prevent the extreme heat, I had bought an air cooler. It was a non-brand product though. In fact, I could not manage the long vacation that summer for some important official assignments. A few of us had to stay at the office though it compensated me later.

But the problem was something different. You won’t believe that I got into trouble with the newly bought air cooler. It became a headache for me. After a couple of days, I had to consult appliance repair Los Angeles. They made some tweaks to make it run.

Other than this issue, I also experienced few other untoward matters that made me really mad.

My younger daughter said, “Dad, I’m gonna have a party at home with my schoolmates. Please, arranger that”. I was happy to know it and accordingly took steps to make her party happen.

On the party day, I prepared some traditional Spanish dishes (a couple of her friends were from immigrants from Spain) those I learned to prepare from youtube. Everything was right unless Samantha (my daughter) wanted to cook something special for them. But she made the blunder during the cooking.

She placed the bacon on the oven without mixing it with spices and other ingredients. In fact, everything in my kitchen was jeopardized. I was in deep trouble about all the issues.

However, I managed the cooking at that moment and controlled every other thing. At the same time, I learned few great lessons about arranging a home party that I want to share in brief.

Organize everything

The first mistake that I did was not organizing everything. After Samantha told me that she wants to have a party at home, I would have organized all the necessary things. Instead, I relied on my intuition that I’ll do everything usually. And this was the mistake that I made before. I did not make a list to prepare the foods.

I just thought that I’ll make something special for them but what the ‘special’ menu is was not set. Consequently, I was in a sort of trouble to take the right decision. In fact, many of the USA citizens are like me. We do the things and then plan that we should care about the matters systematically in the next time.

Emergencies

Truly, there should be some emergency measures to handle any untoward situation. For instance, I had to ask for support from appliance repair Los Angeles to repair my air cooler. But if there would have been any contingency plan, I would not have to spend a notable amount of my dollars to repair the newly bought product.

Besides, I did not care for the damages of the other cooking appliances. As a matter of fact, every smart individual has a plan ‘B’ that I did not plan earlier. Finally, I had to struggle over all the matters.

Check your store

Moreover, I was at a loss about what to do. She informed me about the party in the morning and I nodded at her proposal. But I did not check my stock what I have to arrange it and make a successful one.

I rushed to a nearby supermall and got some stuff to handle everything. It was hard for me to get the soft beverage that she asked me to get. If you want to hold such a party, make sure you are checking your inventory before you decide to make it happen.

Last but not the least

Decorate your residence before you invite someone. And most importantly try avoiding the kids’ involvement in such arrangements. They cause troubles than you imagine.

Well, hope you have got some insights about the passing of last summer. Being a banker, this is tough for me to arrange holidays. This year I got only a week during the summer and had to attend office on the other days.

It was a nice experience but a planning could have made it far better than it was. Therefore, it is imperative for everyone to go into detail and implement the plan accordingly.
