The Relationship Between Happiness And Wellbeing

Happiness And Wellbeing

What are people constantly looking for in their lives? Why do we get married, give birth to children, travel around the world, buy expensive houses, visit music concerts and festivals, fall in love and try to keep this feeling? Every living being seeks happiness. How can wellbeing influence happiness?

Fun fact. When searching for wellbeing in Britannica, it redirects you to the definition of happiness.

Cambridge Dictionary defines well-being as the state of being healthy and happy. When talking about happiness, Britannica defines it as a state of emotional wellbeing. Happiness can exist without well-being, but well-being can’t exist without happiness. It leads us to physical and emotional aspects which every person is trying to blend into a single and harmonious mixture.

Yoga, fitness, work out

Any type of physical activity is a part of everyday life that leads to well-being and happiness. The majority of people associate well-being with yoga, fitness, jogging, working out, wellness, good shape, and other. It gathers the understanding of every physical practice accessible for everyone to be fit and healthy. Every person wants to be healthy and feel good. Not everyone acknowledges the simple truth: you feel well if you are healthy. However, there are many more options to feel well, passionate, proud, harmonious, and as a result, happy without being healthy.

Sport and passion

Doing sports is a lot of fun. People are buying memberships at the gyms, new costumes, meet new friends, keep diets, and work hard to achieve goals. Physical wellbeing gives the feeling of self-confidence, confidence brings harmony to life, harmony leads to happiness. However, physical well-being is just the first opened the door to the endless opportunities. Well-trained and physically fit people can win tennis parties, football, and volleyball games, climb mountains, rich new speed limits into skiing or snowboarding, learn cool tricks, handle more yoga poses, and other. Pursuing personal goals and achieving them grant people with an exclusive feeling of victory, self-confidence, harmony, and, as a result, happiness.

Nutrition

Despite prejudices connected with well-being, it still means many different things for many different people. When a person comes home after an exhausting day, eats a portion of unhealthy food at one set and goes to sleep, that can be a type of happiness because, in fact, the person feels happy at that moment. However, if the person changes the nutrition plan for the healthy and scheduled one, he or she will probably not describe the new undiscovered state with the word “happiness.” This change may lead to unexpected changes in mood. It is necessary to invest patience, efforts, time and research (if needed and wanted) to keep the healthy nutrition plan and realize, that healthy nutrition grants the body with constant wellbeing, easy mornings, good mood, and less pain in the body. Doesn’t it sound like happiness?

Occupation and constant self-development

Professional development, which includes personal growth, can lead to happiness and wellbeing as well. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, self-fulfillment is located at the top of the pyramid. It is the icing on the cake. Self-fulfillment needs self-actualization. Personal and professional growth, new knowledge, the course of another foreign language, lead to achieving full potential. You can hire professional for writing your essay and concentrate on the things that grant you with self-actualization. This type of fulfillment grants personality with a unique and steady calmness, maturity, and, of course, happiness.

Relationships

What is well-being concerning relationships with other people? There are spouses, lovers, friends, soulmates, buddies, parents, relatives, colleagues, team leaders, team members, employees, students, and many other types of relationships we experience every day. Each of this type, if applicable, grant us with a wide range of emotions including happiness. The most fulfilling and meaningful for the majority are family relationships. Close people grant support, harmony, deep unconditional love, respect, fun, joy, and many other emotions. The mixture fo everything can be characterized as happiness which causes well-being.

Bottom line

Happiness and wellbeing have strong relationships and are connected to each other. They complete one another. Many people associate the combination of both with yoga, harmony, jogging, health, sports, and exercises accessible to everyone. However, it can mean much more including sport with passion, healthy nutrition, self-actualization, and deep relationships. It can mean different things to different people, but it is something everyone pursues in life.
