The Power of UN-Common Belief

How deep will you go?

Often we hear motivational speakers talking about standing out, stepping up, taking ownership, rising up, powering through etc… Being courageous and persistent enough to do all these things is where limitations are smashed and fear is transcended.

The truth is, we create our own limitation from within and the only time comparison counts is when we can objectively make an honest assessment of our own results. There is nothing outside us that we need to focus on when embarking on this inner journey. Yes we need to observe and take ownership for our results that manifest in the physical however beyond that, we are an internal entity working with our own energy to help ourselves so we can then help others more effectively.

Celebrating this personal journey is essential as we can then navigate these inner realms with more confidence and compassion. This simple belief in diving inwards to deal with the static within is where we empower ourselves to do all the above…beyond the intellectualisation. We have to embody every part through action and example.

What unnerves me as an energy medicine practitioner and shamanic healer is that most people believe they need to push through with brute force and perseverance to the point where health and wellbeing suffers and burnout is inevitable. This outdated mode of being needs to be addressed and reinvented based on acknowledging universal law and understanding energy. New paradigms (that are essentially ancient turned modern) are present and accessible by choice.

Nature has it’s way and as reflections of nature we have an initial responsibility to ourselves to ensure that we are well-BEINGS so we can be of service to others and the planet. Being burnt out and exhausted whilst believing in the greater good is futile.

These are simple facts that are so common yet obliquely misconstrued and complicated. What I find is that our ‘progressive’ modern world is so focused on being permanently distracted by copious amounts of scientific evidence for all aspects of life that we have almost stopped living from our hearts and embodying this life and remain fixated in our heads acquiring more and more information.

Embodying who we are and our purpose is what we came here to do and that is equal to and parallel with learning. Knowing who we are and loving ourselves to ensure we live well in all aspects of health, personal development, relationships, abundance and career is something few of us consider. We can easily live on automatic pilot mode for years and wonder why there is a lack of joy and fulfilment.

Pausing and taking stock is necessary for all humans if we are to amplify our personal and community impact. The ‘ancients’ may have lived in different times with different resources however the concept of human existence hasn’t changed, it’s our choices and beliefs that have changed. We are still souls having a human experience, yet the majority of humans are unaware, deny or resist that fundamental fact. Ancient cultures embraced this knowledge and helped each other thrive whereas our modern western society has a tendency to struggle and strive for ideals outside themselves.

Whatever we perceive in our personal beliefs of human potential often defines the power of the ‘common’ belief or collective belief. The power of the ‘uncommon’ belief is where human potential can transcend the norm and begin to disrupt our personal energetic ‘bubble of belief’ and the collective field. I’m sure we have all had times in our lives where disruption has been the best solution to problematic situations.

It comes back to simplicity vs complexity. These are choices that begin with the individual and end with the individual. The power is in how the individual shares their beliefs and how that then translates to communities, businesses and organisations. Heart based personal expression in energetic flow is both beautiful and powerful because according to copious research done by HeartMath, the heart is 100, 000 times more powerful than the mind. Do we need any more evidence than that??

Are you choosing to create your reality based in love or fear? Simplicity vs complexity. What do you choose to give your energy to in each moment? The nature of simplicity is often hidden from us as the subconscious or unconscious belief obscures our reality unintentionally. The combined wisdom of innate knowing and compassion can lead the way back to simplicity without employing the often destructive forces of judgement, comparison and complexity.

The reversal of these beliefs is in motion however the percentage of humanity ‘in the know’ is still minute. Consciousness is a human right and is all about educating ourselves about the simplicity of human potential beyond the physical form. We are both form and formless energetic beings living powerful multi-dimensional lives by choice. I choose to connect multi-dimensionally as do many humans ready to embrace REAL world change.

Choice is everything in our earth realm as it provides us with options that either create the flow we desire or back-fire. Either way, we learn to navigate these consequences and learn about our energy through our actions. There are numerous ways we learn and some of us seem to learn the hard way (I know that feeling well) while others seemingly breeze through life. It’s simply a choice.

As a result, external comparison and validation are detrimental to our inner journey because they essentially distract us from the work we are meant to be doing based on our own intuitive knowing and decision-making. However we observe these facts, we get feedback that helps us take responsibility and work through the deeper stories behind the external need for distraction. This is the process of elevating our awareness.

As a child, teenager and adult, I never understood why I would constantly feel like my life was always in reverse or I felt like I was swimming upstream. I realised that I was wired to believe in the ‘uncommon belief’ which naturally created inner resistance as I would then chase acceptance and feel the need to ‘fit in’. As I happily created more and more inner resistance over the years, I realised how much of my energy was being drained. Essentially I was always helping people so that felt great, however I was also ‘giving myself away’.

New boundaries and new beliefs were the governing laws that I employed to reshape my life. I was empowering myself to make a difference to my own world first so that I could show others the value in maintaining compassionate and empowering energetic boundaries for themselves. Energetically, I attracted those who needed that assistance so I didn’t need to try to find them.

Once I understood the simplicity of universal energy and how to observe my inner and outer realities, I started to surf the waves. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t dumped and pummelled either (and still am as I level up even further), it just meant I was learning to surf and I was choosing the waves I wanted to surf. For example, I chose to make 2018 a year of experimentation with my healing and coaching work and I developed several programs, expanded my healing abilities and began applying structure to my coaching skills to provide a whole new container in which to operate in 2019.

We are literally creating our reality and that just takes astute awareness of sensory, visible and invisible worlds all in unison. Why the visible and invisible? That’s the key to reaching our higher potential, a deeper perspective of our ability to be so much more than we believe and trust because of the invisible nature of embedded beliefs, thoughts, patterns and programs.

By denying any part of ourselves we create disconnection from the wholeness of who we truly are. When we do this, we essentially scatter ourselves in pieces reinforcing a ‘separatist’ operating mode. The mastery is in bringing all parts of us together first and operating from the whole.

What does that look like? In my world of energy, that means we must own all the splintered parts of us, bring them together, clean up the debris we brought with us into this world and acquired through the years and then learn to live a sustainable life based on the purity and potential of who we are as energetic beings – physical and non-physical.

Naturally, this is a process and evolution. However, from a healing perspective, when we acknowledge ourselves beyond the physical, we get to make a massive collective impact by firstly healing trauma throughout time and space, then dealing with our acquired and embedded behavioural patterns.

Traditionally, healing the collective trauma and pain was seen as a struggle or hard work. This is a long-held belief that can be flipped at any time, it’s a choice to believe in trauma and pain or to let it go lovingly and respectfully to allow new expression and creation to occur. Any energetic resistance to these old stories/beliefs results in a downward spiral or a series of negative feedback loops. And that’s ok too, how else do we learn to navigate our path?

The choice to amplify the positive feedback loop is governed by us intuitively choosing what ‘feels’ good for ourselves first. Strengthening our empowered path then assisting the human collective. Raising our awareness is paramount to allowing any transformation to make an impact and strengthening our intuitive muscle is where our navigation systems can begin to upgrade and amplify our lives.
